Finally, after months of constant transition, I finally moved to Asheville.
I’m in school and working at Michaels. (yay)
So now that I feel calmer and like I’m back on this planet, I am totally ready to rev up this blog once again.
The question is, what are you all craving in the DIY universe lately?
Let me know!
We love the idea of using balloons as floating hangers for photos! The above was for a wedding, but thanks to the hundreds of different colored balloons, you can adapt this for just about any occasion!
this is such a great idea!
One thing I love to do but am always terrible at is cake decorating! I always see pictures of these delicious cakes and think - I could totallydo that - and they always promise that it’s so easy! Well when I saw this cake I thought, ‘Easy? Yeah right’. But once I actually saw this tutorial I thought - hmm, maybe I coulddo that! Yes, it would take more than the usual slap dash 5 minute icing job, but if you’re wanting to make a cake for a special occasion then this would be perfect. Plus don’t you think it looks even more delicious?!
I’ve finally gotten in to the habit of taking my bags with me to the store, but of course have found that all the bags I have a too small to actually fit anything into them! I think the solution is to make a couple of these super easy totes to chuck in my handbag. The beauty of using faux leather is that it doesn’t fray so the only stitches you’re going to have to make is to keep the two pieces together - a great beginner sewing project!
DIY Eclipse Necklace Tutorial from Teahab here. Really easy DIY. I mentioned in the post with the curved wire necklace by ….Love Maegan that I had seen a smaller version using beads and this was the necklace I was thinking of.
